I recently checked two modules into drupal's contributions/modules CVS directory. Then, I added them to drupal.org so they would appear under downloads->modules->cvs.

The first, called Worklog worked fine. It appears under "My projects" and under downloads.

The second, called Tac_lite did not work so well. The node was created and I did not get any error messages, but it does not appear under "My modules" nor does it appear under downloads. Also there is a difference in the project node form. The Worklog form prompts me for a "Default version for issues", while the tac_lite form does not.

As I write, it occurs to me that the underbar '_' character in the cvs directory could be a problem. Do I need to submit my module under a different name?

Nope, I added both before the outage.

But somehow the other module has shown up in My modules. Not sure what fixed it, but its fixed now.

project is automated. It can take 12-24 hours for stuff to get packaged and appear. In the event there is an issue, posting to the Infrastructure list or filing na Infradtructure bug gets it to the correct eyes faster.
