CSS styles on front page

Hi

Great theme. Am about to go live with it and am adding the final tweaks to my site. I'd like to insert a body class to indicate that I am on the front page but the page.tpl.php contains

<body<?php print $body_class ?>>

which I can't add to or disassemble ( as far as I know ). Is there a way to achieve this ?
