Getting CSS to work with FckEditor

How do you use the css from the colourise theme with the fckeditor? I have tried every path to the css but it still wont show. I've also moved the fckstyles.xml to the css folder within my template. Can someone please tell me where i am going wrong it's driving me up the wall.
