When we post a new node to our website, we always must set the node-options. Isn't it handy to make this configurable, so you can give your preferences somewhere in the admin section (for every nodetype in particular).
It's much less frustrating when you doesn't have to set the same options over and over again, if you (almost) always use the same settings for node-posting.

this is available in the upcoming node API. if someone wants to see that API become a reality, please help test it (it is in Kjartan's sandbox) and report on your results.
