Description

Hello,

At the moment Licenses are only shown on a block, but it could be even more useful to be integrated into a CCK field, so it would be possible to control their location. In addition that would be useful for view's use (eg: at the moment there's no way to achieve a view which consist of a page full of thumbnails pictures + some fields like CC license)

Hope you can consider this feature for near future releases, which would make your module the ideal module to use in the project I am working at now.

Regards

Hey, great point. To do this, I would need to create a CCK Field module, right? Looking into it... if you have any tips, let me know.

If it's easy enough, it might make the next beta release, otherwise I'll include it in a 2.x release (which should be complete by the end of the summer).

I'm glad you liked the idea. Unfortunately I don't know how to do that, :( but I'm sure if you have developed such a module that would be "easy" for you.

Good luck!

Ok, I've decided to support views in this release, but CCK support will be put off for now (maybe 2.x -- which will be further down the road than I mentioned before) as it changes the way content gets licensed in the database.

I've been making some big progress in implementing the Views API. Hopefully that provides the module with more controls over how the licenses are displayed.

I'll let you know when I commit the changes, likely for beta3.

I'll be looking forward for it!

Hello Balleyne

I've tried the 6.x-1.x-dev version and the views integration seem to work very well. It's like I was looking for, I'm willing to see it implemented on the stable version.

Regards
