Menu item (my guestbook entries) disappeared after upgrade to 6.x

I rely extensively on guestbook module. I recently upgraded to 6.x and the menu item in navigationwhich used to show if I have any new guestbook entry has suddenly disappered. USers tend to rely on this feature since it is visible from any page.
although the guestbook tab is now on profile, it is not good because users have to specifically go to that page to find if they have any entry.
