I'm a bit confused by this module. When clicking 'move to trash' how do I find where it is moved to or is it moved anywhere? Do you have an example method of collecting the trash content in a single place/trashbin?

As it said on project page, Trashbin is not useful without integration modules. So by default when you press the button it does nothing. I don't have example of module usage, because currently Trashbin integrates only with 2 modules: Workflow and Rules. If you have experience with these modules, you will also have idea of Trashbin module usage.

One more clarification: Trashbin was not made to provide "out of the box" solution from the start, but rather to provide building tool, to allow one to build any configuration. Different users of this module may want to do different things with "trashed" nodes - some will just log them before deleting, others will want to save backup copies and delete, or alert moderators in some way and just hide trashed node. List of possible operations is endless. Both Workflow and Rules modules are flexible in that area, allowing to setup any type of "trash workflow", that's why Trashbin integrates with them.
I will put this on module page to stop similar questions in future.
