I never post the sites I work on here here and I think I'm going to start making an effort.
The owner of this site, http://www.goodearthbeauty.com/, contacted me with a problem. She had a developer run off on her, and the site wasn't in the most complete shape. The UI wasn't up to snuff (it was *very* pink and looked like it marketed to tweens instead of women). The original developer made a mess of the taxonomy and ubercart, and told her the simplest things "couldn't be done". She sent a frustrated tweet last week which I answered offering some assistance.
As there was little money, instead of engaging a designer I threw together a couple of theme options using Artisteer (read a review I did of Artisteer). I can't understate how well Artisteer works to get a clean basic theme up and running. In under a half hour I had 3 themes for her to choose from. At that she decided on this little green on green number. Of course there's tweaking after the theme comes out. As I say in my article it doesn't replace a designer in medium to high end sites but for something simple like this it saves the day.
