I'm not sure if 'Link Attach' does/did exactly what I would like, but it sounds like it may have. But your module will replace the older ones, right? I just started using your module, and it looks like the links attached to a node are seperate from the weblinks you can create in 'create content->weblink'.
It would be good if you could just attach a weblink you've already created to another regular node. Is there any way to do that, or any plans to add that feature?

eaton commentedTo do this, you'll want to use the 'Links Related' module. It allows you to attach any number of links to a node. In the latest version of the links package, it can even automatically discover links you've inserted manually in the body of the node.

benthere commentedI'm sorry if I'm not expressing my requests clearly. I would like a way to attach a 'weblink' node to another (story, blog, page, flexinode) node.
I think it would be a good feature to make attached URLs = weblink nodes. One and the same.
For example:
1. setup page content type to allow related links.
2. create new page, add related link google [http://www.google.com].
3. go to admin/node and filter by type=weblink.
4. find that google is not there, because it didn't create a weblink node.
Desired behavior:
4. see that adding a related link to that page created a weblink for my weblink directory, which can then be assigned to other nodes, without duplication of data.
Links is already improving considerably for this release. It's just a feature that would be nice to have sometime. I hope you don't mind if I change it back to feature request.
