Hi,

I installed uc_option_image module for attribute management in Ubercart.

I selected one of the attribute options as default. It works fine when I view it in the admin area listing. When I'm at the front end and viewing the product details, the default attribute must be selected by default. Its just not happening and none of the attribute options is selected by default. Is there anything in the setup I might have missed?

Same observation and question using Ubercart 1.x

For whatever reason, if an option is "required" then the default option is not selected on the product page. Instead you get the unchecked check boxes, unticked radio buttons, "please select" item for select boxes, etc. - completely counter-intuitive.

Making my attribute not required has not fixed this for me.

Update - I needed to stop the override on the per product level.
