I have a website and I'm trying to accociate my site with a bigger portal...
They want me to change my url from www.mysite.com to www.mysite.portal.com

but i dont wanna lose my url cause google finds me with it.
it would be the same site but been accessed by different urls.

would it be possible altering .htacsess or only configuring apache?

Not quite understand your question. What do you mean when "associate my site with a bigger portal"?

my portal is trying to make an agreement to be part of another one. that is our content will be available from inisde this other site. but they want us to add their name in our urls

but we are afraid of losing our urls...

hope it's clearer...

If you're using a cPanel host, you can use the parked domains feature.
