The last commit to this project was over a year ago. Since I've been actively developing uc_signup, I'd like to revive this project and get it working for Drupal 6. May I take ownership of this project? Thanks!

I granted you CVS commit access to the project and feel free to run with a Drupal 6 version! I have some ideas and interest here, but ultimately code is golden. Hit me up by email and perhaps we can coordinate.

Also, install profiles as a platform are pretty limited. Perhaps an approach like this makes sense:
