The confirmation is trigger on things like when AHAH form element is used.

The AHAH issues seems to be due to re-attaching of the event when the form fields are reloaded into the page.

Something like http://www.sajithmr.com/warning-before-navigate-away-from-a-page/ would seem much simpler. Although it does not look like jQuery supports this.

Just an FYI; after some informal testing in D7, it looks like AJAX/AHAH isn't causing any trouble with this module.

[Edit: The only annoying thing that I notice is that even if you just click on a popup, then click off of it, the warning pops up. On the whole, though, not a major gripe.]

I've posted some revised code in http://drupal.org/node/372730 that is working better for me in D7 in relation to ajax items, as well as general form elements.
