Triggered Rule PHP Snippet: Send [node:site-url]/node/[node:nid] via php to network printer.

Hey guys,

I have a triggered rule. It works fine!

I need to get some php snippet that will take this information: [node:site-url]/node/[node:nid] convert to a real URL and then push that out to a network printer.

Rules will allow you to do a custom php snippet when some action is triggered. I don't know enough (read next to none) php to be able to configure this.

I've googled and found some stuff on fopen() and such, but not exactly sure how to do it.

Perhaps this is a snippet we could add to the library?

I did search through the forums for anything like this and couldn't find anything.
