Twitter Input Filter Not Working with TinyMCE

I'm using TinyMCE in WYSIWYG editor and I cannot seem to get the Twitter Input Filter to work. I've tried putting the filter last in the order, and first in the order. I've tried turning off the Input Format's HTML corrector as well as TinyMCE's. The URL filter which comes standard in Drupal still works. I've been testing using the admin account with no HTML restrictions in the Input Filters. What can I check to get this working?
