Drush dl - download recommended versions

hi genius

i think Drush is a very useful command line drupal proj installer.

but it would be nice if its not downloading the Dev versions.

it must be giving Recommended versions without mentioning '-x.2.5' etc in dl command

any patches there?

Could you clarify what it is you are asking for?

Are you asking for the ability to download dev versions? e.g.

drush dl a_module-6.x-dev

i am asking to NOT download the default as dev version.

I am using Drush and it downloads the most stable versionof the modules by default
