Flag source node + translation

Hello,

I have a multilingual Drupal site (English/Arabic) and I have a question regarding the Flag module. I have a flag called 'favorites' that is used in a 'celebrity' node-type. Now when I flag a celebrity in the English interface, when I switch to Arabic the user doesn't show up in a custom 'Celebrity Fans' block but shows only in the interface it was flagged... although the flag label changes to the equivalent of "Remove from my favorites" in the Arabic interface.

After researching, I also installed the Translation Helpers module in order to allow this functionality, applied the patches in the issue query and still couldn't get it to work. Here are my system details:
