Okay so I had that "fatal error...yadayada line 270" issue because of the images directory not existing. I understand now thanks to some post that was created in 2007. Sweet! However, I too was lock out of the site by that error and had to delete via FTP my Cafepress module. I had previously tried to name my own path for my cafepress images in the Site Config/ cafepress behaivior, but forgot what I did...oops. At any rate. When I try to reinstal the darn module it gives me the same errors as if I never deleted it in the first place. I would love to have this module as I have merch to offer on my site. Can someone please help me? I am kinda new to this Drupal thing, but know enough to follow directions pretty good. I am running: apache-Drupal 5.19- PHP 5.2-MySql 5.0.

Sorry, but it seems the person making that module stopped supporting it with Drupal 5 & did not upgrade it to Drupal 6 version.
I wanted to use it, but because of that reason, gave it up since I use Drupal 6.
Some person made a version for Drupal 6, but I could not get it to work. [http://drupal.org/project/issues/cafepress]
It's quite unfortunate, because I think it's a great module for Cafepress users.

I however, have a copy on a test site using Drupal 5 at http://www.orbit.890m.com/ (may at times be offline)
I dont remember all I did to get it work, as that is about 2 years ago ...
If that is what you had, ... I at least remember I had to download a php class file "class.cafepressbox.php" from some web site as described in install.txt of the module & include it the cafepress module folder. I think you have to edit that file to either link to the images in your store OR download the images and place them in a folder on your site. I see I have images in /images/cafepress.

If this does not help you remember what you did, may be we could try to get a solution.

By the way my current shop: http://www.cafepress.com/pearlofafrica
