Here's the deal.. I installed the module and tried it out and it works fine, though I haven't tried the preview bug but that's ok for now..
The thing I found more of a bug was that the image isn't attached to some kind of list like when you usually use the "Upload" module.. You'll get a list of options and the adress to the image.. Then you can choose between have the image listed or non listed etc. I guess this is the way I would like this module to work the same, except this makes the comment having an attachment which you later can add to the post..
It's a lot easier for us maintaining a site to see if a image is attached or not..

eaton commentedGood ideas. Right now, the module exists as a sort of proof-of-concept for modifying the comment form and doing new and cool things with it. Adding in full upload.module functionality is something that could be very useful, but isn't (yet) on my schedule.
chx has mentioned that he's interested in helping make this a 'reference' module on how to add uploading functionality, so the future holds good things for it. That will probably come after Drupal 4.7 is released, though.

Tigerstorm@creativebits.org commentedSounds great if you guys could work together to make this module a really great one!
I hope though that you sort this matter out before grand opening of 4.7 :)
Best regards

eaton commentedThis appears to be working in the latest Drupal CVS version. A number of image and path related issues havebeen fixed in HEAD.
