Unregistered phplist subscription creates duplicate replies

Things are up and I'm running them through their paces, and, so far, I've only one problem. When a user that is new to both Drupal and phpList subscribes to a newsletter, it returns two thankyou notices, one on top of the other, some jibberish, and no logo images. I'll keep working it and keep you posted. Both installations are very clean and I want to get this nailed down before moving on. Thanks.
