Is there a way to make filter more like this:
Book entries ie show all the red entries made by Ericson with the key word bride. Or show all entries with the key word bride entered between 7/1/2009 and 7/30/2009. Or show all entries made by James since 7/1/2009.

I would think that's do-able. I assume by "keyword" you mean some text within the node body.

Committed to 6.x-1.x-dev. Please give it a test.
Note that "body contains" remains available so that further keyword filtering can be done.
