To use this module, you need to select one of the Adsense Client ID selection modules first, and configure it correctly. See below for a list of available modules, and their settings page.

I've seen no such thing in the module. What on earth does this refer to?

You're right. That sentence is no longer current. It used to refer to one of two mandatory client ID modules: one for a site-wide ID and the other for revenue sharing.. After I reorganized the module, the site-wide ID is part of the core module, so the only option is whether to enable revenue sharing or not by configuring the appropriate module.

I will change that sentence to make it current.
