Thanks for the wonderful moddules first.

I am using “Author Pane” and “APK” module. I am trying to use “View” to list some users with one of the field is the “User: Picture”, that filed is from the user default profile

Question 1) How can I resize the user picture, for example, when I upload the pic, it is 150X150 and I want it to display as 75X75 from the user listing.

I can do that by using APK’s User Profile Image filed (Content: image), and create a new imagecache for it. But then the “Author Pane” module uses User’s account picture.

Question 2) Can I easily change the “Author Pane” to use APK’s image filed instead? Any pros and cons?

Question 3) what is the initial purpose of the APK image filed?

so what is the best way for me to do??

thanks in advance

APK doesn't have an image field so none of your questions about that make any sense.

What you want is an imagecache formatter for the user picture which doesn't exist. I asked to have one added and was denied. I will probably write my own now that I know more about views but I don't know when that will be. For now, all you can do is squish it down with CSS.

You have a really bad attitude I've noticed throughout the year and a half I've been on here. I was going to donate some funds to you on your shellmedia site but the more I see your posts, the more I can't bring myself to do it.

If you don't like my attitude, you can feel free to stop reading my posts and not use my modules, but please don't dredge up old closed posts just to insult me. That's rude not only to me but to the person who originally posted this who now gets it bumped in his tracker for something completely unrelated.

Oh, as long as we're dredging this up, might as well be useful. There is finally an answer for the OP: Imagecache profiles. It comes with a views formatter for the user picture.
