jquery_ui_requirements looks like the intention is to show the current version of the package on the status report page, however it doesn't appear.

Works for me.

Weird. Not for me.
The module is enabled, and was giving me the 'missing library' error at the module admin page until I uploaded the library.

Huh.
AND works on my test site!!!
Mystery.

with other modules I have found that some server settings have to be changed to allow them to function. for example, on my hosting environment, I have to disable mod_security to allow the Drupal install to create the database. Thoughts?

For me the status report tells me, jQuery UI is not found - although everything is in its place (/sites/all/modules/jquery_ui/jquery.ui/ui). Scripts that depend on UI (mainly datepicker) also do work properly and load the scripts needed from the right folder.
