I am the marketing dept for a Phoenix Investment services company. I designed a site (pure CSS) and I need the site converted into a custom theme. URL provided upon request.
Themer Requirements:
-At least 10 Custom drupal theme sites in portfolio (Based on Zen, idealy)
-Themer should have a preference for Zen
-Strong SEO knowledge (to help critique my existing code)
-Version control/SVN experience
I would imagine that about half of the project would be doing the theming while the other half would be consulting. By consulting, I mean:
- Teaching me as you go, as I will be making frequent design changes. I can very easily learn by modifying existing code so I don’t think it would be too much effort on your part.
- Modules:
- Installation and training on critical modules such as CCK, Views, etc.
- Recommendations for other modules based on site functionality requirements
- I may need a quick walkthrough on additional modules I will be installing such as Spanspam, pathauto, tinymce or fckeditor, an analytics module, Calendar, printer friendly, etc.
- Recommendations on how to “future proof” the site for features down the road such as Forums, video blogging, social networking, chat room, etc
- Workflow management
- SVN (assuming you use version control and propose that I use one)
- Testing -> Live server workflow advice
- SEO tweaking
The three primary goals for the site are:
To be a portal for information related to our particular industry
To keep current clients up to date on the services we are providing them (via authenticated logins)
To be a selling platform of our services to prospective clients
