Issue Summary
Viewfields setting area appear very large in nodes in the edit form, for just holding a views selector and an argument text area.
This messes up the diplay.

Perhaps you could provide some more information regarding your theme setup - what theme are you using, could you provide a screenshot, etc? =o)

Look at the screenshots.
viewpage.jpg is the correct display of the page showing viewfiled records
editpage is the same page in edit mode. The editfield does not fit in the screen
You can see both a link and a viewfield: the first one has the right size, the second one is way out of screen
I normally use Ability for this site, but the issue is independent of the them. I made the screen shot using the simplistic Chameleon

I don't see anything wrong in those screenshot thumbnails.

The problem was that in editing mode, the View field element was twice wider than the screen so it was very difficult to configure it.
Something might have happened in the meantime, the problem vanished by magic.
I tried with several themes and browsers: no problem anymore.
So I consider it is fixed.
