Is Drupal the way to go?

I plan to create a website where
- users can upload short audio clips.
- tagging system for categorizing the clips
- playback mechanism where anybody can play anybody else's clips.
- rating system to rate clips
- threaded commenting system
- users can upload "response clips" in response to existing clips.
- search feature where users can search different categories according to popularity, length, etc
- "most popular"-ish list of clips on the front page, both overall and by category

In the future:
- user moderation for spam/wrongly categorized/inappropriate clips

I'm a very junior developer with a little bit of experience with webapps (C#/ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails). I'm not investing a lot of time or money into the site - its just something I'll be doing for fun. I can see Drupal helping in something like the commenting system, which could be tedious to code from scratch, but how suitable do you guys think Drupal will be for the project as a whole? Thanks!
