I'd really love to support this module as it might be the one I will need for a future project. But I can just support by testing, ideas finding or documentation writing - not that much by programming as I have not enough skills in programming with PHP.

What I realised: everyone who has permission to administer classrooms can administer every classroom. Maybe it would be helpful to have a permission "administer own classroom" as well as "administer any classroom" in order to have the possibility that users with this permission can offer their own courses which can just be administered by then.

In the description of the course there is a field "Use grade percentage" which can be marked by anyone - I did not get the meaning of this field. What does it stand for?

I will add some other ideas from me in some further issues...

These are great news. We need that kind of help: bug reports, ideas and documentation are very welcome!

About your idea about the permissions, I think you're right. We will work to bring that feature into the next beta release (hoppefully it will be ready in a few days).

On the other hand, the "use grade percentage" lets you assign different weights to assignments. So, the assignment A could be the 30% of the final grade, the assignment B could be the 20% and so on. Anyway, you're right again and always a checkbox appears. So, I'm opening a new bug report about it: #544344: "Use grade percentages" is clickable when viewing a course.

We've been reviewing the permissions thing and we've improved it a little bit. The INSTALL.txt contains now instructions about how to set up permissions properly. It's a pain to do it by yourself, but at this time, the module isn't able to set up them automatically.

In the CVS version, a user could create a course and assign some teachers (she need the 'create course content'). So, classroom module administrator intervention isn't needed.

We're thinking in adding some sort of 'course supervisor' role in the near future, but it won't be ready until 1.1 version. At this time, teachers and course owners are 'supervisors' of courses.
