Event breaking module page after installing activating and save, module page goes away in firefox. In opra show error message saying page not available.

Check memory. More often than not administer -> modules goes blank because of memory exhaustion. More on this in Troubleshooting FAQ's area of documentation.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
