I am getting ready to launch in a week or two but would like to post the site and have maybe 10 people do some tests on it. How can i make this happen. Just transferred to HostGator and not sure how i can set up a restrictive access site....that would easily be removed when the testing is done.
How do others do this?

Have you tried the Secure Site Module? It will restrict access to your entire site. Simple to set up and use. Your hosting control panel should also offer a way to restrict access to the folder where your site is located.
