Suddently I get this error and can't figure out what it is? Have been searching forum and it's mentioned something about a tmp folder should be emptied but I don't know where this folder is?

To find out where PHP's temp directory is upload and run a PHP script containing a <?php phpinfo(); ?> line. (Usually it is /tmp).

Drupal's temp directory is specified in the admin/settings/file-system page. These two may be the same or different.

If you have shell access you can see whether one of your file systems (such as /home or /tmp) is running out of space by running df. Otherwise ask your host about the error.

Hi, i had the same problem. I solved it by running Cron.

I had a similar error on d7, which was caused by my file system settings pointing to the wrong directory. I edited them at /admin/config/media/file-system and then ran cron.
