markus_petrux commentedI am using the dev version of Content Profile, and it works here. I haven't tested on registration, only content profile add/edit.
Maybe the dev version of Content Profile makes a difference? Otherwise, I need to know how to reproduce this here. It could be caused by another module. I would suggest trying Private Fields with other content types/fields. If that works, then what else there is profile related that is different?

abhishek sawant commentedHi,
Ok i reinstalled the latest dev version of content profile the privacy icon is present but its not visible can i know which modules are conflicting with content profile and cck private field??

markus_petrux commentedI'm not aware of any other module that may cause conflicts. You should investigate this yourself. I can only help if there's a way I can reproduce the problem, so I can debug, etc.

abaddon commentedi can confirm theres something not working as well, with content profile and fields shown on registration
i can view the privacy icon but when i click on it to change its status from "enabled and public by default" to hidden or private, the status remains public, for private im using user relationships, from within the user account edit content profile page it works ok
tested with latest -dev as well, i wonder if its something to do with the other "enabled and public" bug?
EDIT: if i set the default values to something else they still come up as public on the registration form, and it works as expected under the user's edit profile page.. so just the registration page seems to be an issue, any idea what could cause it?

markus_petrux commentedThen please open a separate issue related to Content Profile for User Registration form. I'm not using this particular case, so I cannot really tell, but this is a different issue than the one we have managed here, which is simply about "Integration with content profile".
