Can APK be used if I want to customize the profile information requested from a user, depending on the value of other fields selected by the user?

For example, say my site first asks users what sport they play, and the answers are Baseball or Hockey. Those who answer Baseball should then be presented questions such as whether they bat righty or lefty and what brand of cleats they prefer. Those who answer Hockey should be asked how fast they skate and what brand of hockey stick they prefer. Or something similar.

Is this a type of scenario that APK can handle?

1) If I've posted this question in the wrong place, my apologies -- I'm a Drupal newbie, and I'm trying...
2) If this is not the right module for what I'm looking for, is there another such module?

No, that's not something APK can do. APK is for assembling what is displayed on the profile page and isn't involved with filling out the profile outside of providing a default node type.

I don't really know what you could use for this... Possibly rules or pageroute? You might have better luck asking in the forums. You're into an area I have no experience with.
