Great work on the module. Really helps at my university where uid's are standardized and ugly.

What work would need to be done to add the functionality to show this widget in the Views filters? If you lead me to water, I can drink it.

I guess quite a lot of code is needed : the Views user reference filter has no autocomplete option itself. The work should be ideally done in the Views module at first. But indeed it would be an interesting feature !

Actually the filter is provided by CCK, and there is now a patch to support autocomplete for user and node reference in the cck issue queue.. so it would be nice to get this implemented!
