Description
Is there any developer outthere who can port Livesearch to Drupal 4.7?
I'm very keen on using this feature on a site..

Here's a version of LiveSearch that works with 4.7. It could probably do with a bit more tidying-up, but it works for now.

There will be an architectural overhaul for Live Search that will work with Drupal 5.0.
I'm considering a backport to Drupal 4.7, although it's not so appealing to me (since it is pretty legacy, compared to Drupal 5).
I'm considering this due to 1) the considerable amount of sites still using Drupal 4.7 and 2) Drupal 4.7 is the only 4.x release that provides a basic JavaScript toolkit that can at least ease some coding pain.
Opinions on backporting to 4.7 are welcomed.
