Anti-aliasing possible? Turns out to antialias, don't apply stroke!

I am posting this as a closed issue just to track and help anyone else that gets stumped like I did.. I was not careful and didn't notice that "stroke" is applied to the text, not as a border to the background of the image generated. As a result, I had some really nasty edges on my text against the background. Remove stroke, and the text is pristine!

Text in textimage is automatically antialiased out of the box.
