Admin_menu is killing Drupal with a PHP Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 2 by reference in /var/www/vhosts/drupal-6/sites/all/modules/admin_menu/admin_menu.inc on line 521

This happened when i flushed all caches via the devel module, running on PHP 5.3

A bug introduced by Drupal core. Update to the latest 1.x version of admin_menu.
