I just upgraded and I'm displaying this: [inline_upload|file=IMG_XXXX.JPG|title=Click to enlarge] instead of pics all of a sudden. I checked my HTML filters and they still seem okay (it worked before). Thoughts?

Yes, 2.x implemented an [inline_upload] tag previously in the development snapshot. However, 2.x was completely rewritten in the past days and now implements [upload] as tag for file attachments uploaded via Upload module.

As long as #302519: Upgrade path from 1.x - or - Mass altering of existing inline macros is not solved, the only thing you can do is to fix the tags manually.
