How to display the Skype Status

I succeeded at showing the Skype Status in user profile's page, but this is not much useful.
How can we get it displayed in page or a block, i.e. using views?
I couldn't find a way to do that, (i.e. outputing a workable link).

I found per accident an attribute in views.
However, it only displays the skype name, which id not helpful.
