vm commented?a=admin shoud be the path. and you should be logged in before you go to the admin area.
aspk commentedmy site is www.aspk.com.tw which is a work in progress
It used to have user login on the right site and I set it up so only user can see. But now I don't see it anymore so I can't log on
and with http://aspk.com.tw/?a=admin it still doesn't prompt me to log in but still takes me to just the page.
help again?
vm commentedlogin at yoursite.com/?q=user then navigate to yoursite.com/?q=admin
check the blocks settings. Not sure how many themes allows the useer block to be shown on the admin path.

aspk commentedgreat it works. Thanks so much. so happy
Comment #5
aspk commentedalso, I would like to get rid of "authoring information" on my page. it always dates everything I put on my page with wording "submitted xxxx date, byxxxxx" and also there is also an RSS feed on my page. It looks like my page is formatted in blog style while it is not intended to be. How do I get rid of those?
thanks

vm commentedpost display information: to go administer -> themes -> configure for the theme in use. uncheck the content types you don't want this on.
rss feeds = you can't disable them at this point. It's actually a feature. If you promote nothing to front page using "promote to front page publish option, the list will remain blank. Otherwise it is a way for users to subscribe to your site using a feed and a feed reader.
If you've more questions. Please create a forum thread in the post installation forum.
Thanks.
