Hi
I downloaded Mollom for Drupal 6 and this is the folder that I got:- (mollom-6.x-1.9.tar_1)
I used Filezilla to FTP the single content of the folder to my root folder sites/all/modules. The file size says 317,440 TAR_1 file. After getting File Transfer successful I went to my site's module list (Administer >> Site building >> Modules) to enable the
Mollom module. Problem is that I do not see the module on the Modules List.
Also I tried to find Mollom by going to Site Configuration. It was not there. Have I forgotton to do something that will make it to appear?
What can I do to get Mollom to show on my Modules list?
Please help what should I do to get the Mollom module up and running on my website?

vm commentedtry to redownload. The download is marked correctly. Not sure why you've a malformed archve name.

dave reidMost likely you extracted the .gz part of the mollom.tar.gz archive, but you would also need to extract the tar file as well.

On the contrary. I understood your suggestion very well and I am very pleased to tell you that Mollom is now up and running smoothly on my site. TWO QUESTIONS
1) I have more than one site. How can I protect the other sites with Mollom?
2) Do you have any idea about using Frontpage Slideshow? I have fpss installed on my test site. This is what I get. A big Block of error messages. What can I do to clear this error message so that fpss works on my site? Here is the error message that I get:-
Thanks for your kind assistance.

vm commentedfp_slideshow issues should be reported in that modules issue queue.

Thanks for your reply.I have more than one site. How can I protect the other sites with Mollom.
vm commentedinstall mollom on those other sites.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI had this problem moving from 6x-1.9 to 6x-1.10. I had to uninstall the module competeley (disable -> uninstall) & reinstall for it to re-appear.

dave reid@mxistence: The menu location changed in the new version. All you had to do was run update.php.

thewass commentedim using FileZilla to FTP folders to my site, im on a mobile broadband connection which is very dodgy at best. It seems that if FTP gets interrupted at the right point it can create a 0 length file of any file without reporting an error, but more specifically if it does this for your_module.info it will not appear in the file list. this one caught me out for a while until i realised what was going on

happythoughts commentedI am using FTP Filezilla to upload as well. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, and Mollom appears in my Modules but not in my Site Config.
Any ideas are appreciated.
