I am very interested in your product, but I'm not sure if it would be too sophisticated for me to use.
I have a blog at http://www.buyingaviatorsunglasses.com that I would like to expand by using e-commerce solutions, and maybe even a forum.
I used WordPress to create this blog, and realize that using Drupal would be a big change in how I do things. I have a background in Computer Science, but am really new in creating sites using "site building software".
Have any of you switched from using WordPress to using Drupal? If so, I would really appreciate some advice on what to expect if I do this.

With a background in CS and
With a background in CS and experience with WP you will be fine. It will take you longer to do good work with Drupal than it did with WP. The difference is that with Drupal, there are no limits to what you can do. I recommend baby steps.
1. Set up a blog with Drupal similar to what you have now.
2. Add the forums.
3. Tackle ecommerce with the Ubercart module.
