Thanks!!!! :)

What do you mean by "Disappearing"?

choster - August 14, 2009 - 17:08

Do you mean the images are accessible when editing but do not show up when the node is saved? Check your input format to make sure that is allowed.

Yes!

zbabyface - August 14, 2009 - 18:13

Images are accessable, yet not showing on the site.

I believe it has something to do with Imagecache/lightbox/imageassist ??? It's weird because images are showing under press, but not under the front page, recipes.... etc..

3 Image modules

dambrisco - August 14, 2009 - 22:05

With all of those modules in use, you're going to have to make sure you don't have any conflicting settings. Particularly, take a close look at your Imagecache presets.

I've never toyed around with Lightbow or Imageassist, personally, but I know Imagecache has half a dozen settings that need to be in perfect alignment. It won't even work right with the Image module in some cases. YMMV, of course.

True~!

zbabyface - August 14, 2009 - 23:13

You are correct...crazy thing is that this woman that owns the site is going on TV tonight and publicizing the website!
Search function doesn't work either.

The website was molested by many before me. I'm just the latest...lol I've disabled all that crap and went with good ol'

Thanks though!

(when you insert images you have to choose full html instead fo filtered html in the page you are creating... it is located after the body. you will see turn to the plain text and then input format...
try this) forget this

I am trying with lightbox also and let me tell you that it is disaster, so I try Thickbox and it works and easily... I saw yur site and I think you know more than me about drupal :)

I will be giving that a try this week and will report back to you! Thanks!!! ....p.s....I'm normally a Joomla guy but took on a real big problematic Drupal site and Thank God it's functioning now ...when I got it, it was so jacked up! I couldn't even believe it!

Thanks!

temp folder

zbabyface - August 17, 2009 - 18:41

What I've found out is that images that were uploaded are being considered "temporary" and deleted every so often. I still don't have a fix for it yet.

Temp Images

dambrisco - August 17, 2009 - 20:32

There's either an issue with the images being moved from the temp directory to the permanent directory, or you're using some weird caching option in one module or another. I had a hell of a time getting my drupal site functioning, too, (http://intron.healthcare.uiowa.edu/database), particularly in regard to images when I had multiple image-related modules enabled. I saw you said you removed something, but if you can list what image-related modules you still have, I might be able to look into what's crashing on you.

Take a look at your File System and File Uploads settings, too, and make sure it all looks correct. If you can, try to abbreviate what you've got setup and people here can help you find the issue better.

ImageCache

dambrisco - August 17, 2009 - 20:35

I was just rethinking the huge issues I had when I first started up with ImageCache and the Image Module (the latter of which I later uninstalled). The biggest problem I had at first was that the directory that ImageCache was trying to cache into didn't have proper permissions enabled. If you're getting any unlink or move errors, that's most likely the case.

www

dambrisco - August 17, 2009 - 20:40

If you haven't noticed yet, http://www.stephanieizard.com is hitting a roadblock. It looks like an attempted second install, if I had to guess. http://stephanieizard.com works perfectly fine. This is probably a proxy issue. I'd suggest rewriting http://*.stephanieizard.com to http://stephanieizard.com at least until you figure out what's blocking up the www portal.
