Might I be able to ask humbly if it would be possible to change the formatting of the exported doc to a list or even unformatted? Sorry, I'm not a coder. I do my best to learn as much as I can so I don't have to pester the great experts here, but in this case I'm stumped. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest looking around for information on views theming. The template you're going to be looking to override is views-bonus-export-doc.tpl.php. Also, if you go to the views ui admin page for your view and find the "theme" link there will be more information as to derivative names for the template you can put in your theme.
