Positioning CCK edit fields on Node Add/Edit forms

Hello,

I am trying to create a userfriendly node input form. With panels I can override the node/edit and place the node content, taxonomy and some other fields individually.

However I do not seem to be able to to access individual cck edit fields. Taxonomy input fields by vocabulary would also be welcome.

CCK Fieldgroup Tabs or the markup module are not sufficient for my needs, it would be great if panels could provide this functionality. Alternatively, suggestions for other modules than the ones mentionend are welcome.
