Issue Summary
When I insert an image into the ad in the editor and display the ad, the image is missing. The editor still shows it , but the entire tag has been removed from the view. Why?

I think this is a case of you need to adjust the settings for the editor or more likely, for input types. It is not something to do with the Classified Ad module, but rather with drupals filtering system. The settings for the filtering system are such on your system that when drupal displays the data it filters out img tags. Change those input type settings for the user roles applicable to allow img tags and not have them filtered out.
