Description

I recently put this module onto my site, http://www.thewomensnest.com - I love the badges, but for some reason, it picks up on some people's badges (based on points) but others it does not automatically change to the higher level. For example, if a fledgeling needs 20 posts and a jr members needs 50, when they reach 51 it remains on fledgeling. I've checked the badges and even resubmitted them, but it still isn't working. However, on some members it is giving them the appropriate badge - it appears that there are about 4 badges not working properly.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
Melissa

It sounds like you have it set up so that points give badges, but this isn't part of the core functionality of this module, so how are you linking points to badges?

The mod asks for points at the bottom of the settings screen - so I put it there. But I've resolved the issue -the problem was that even though the badges are based on points, the badges needed to be ordered based on that graduating system on the badge page itself - so, for example, if a TWN addict was 1000 points, a fledgeling 20 points, and a major member 500 points, they had to be in the order: Addict, Major, Fledgeling - listed on the actual Badge module set up page. That corrected the issue. I should also note that only the highest level badge is visible.

I've got user badges and userpoints installed, but I'm not seeing any points option in the settings form, or on any other form. I suspect you may have another module active, maybe a userpoints contributed module.

Actually the user badges are now working fine. The problem was that even though the goals for points was set correctly, if they are not in the correct order on the form (lets say you have Major Member at 1000 pts, Jr Member at 500, then Addict at 1200), it will not move from Major to Addict - they have to be in sequential order based on points in the list.

Thank you, though!
