The 4.7 Flexinode Download package only has a text file in it. No porgram modules.

Should I be using the CVS verison?

You may have to use a direct CVS checkout until the project module bug is fixed in the next drupal.org update. Seems to be an issue for many projects (tarballs not being generated properly).
