Hi,

I have set up my site to register users that then give them access to their 'My account' page with a panel page overriding the view which is accessible to the public via a search directory.

I would like to do 2 things -

1. Have people pay an annual fee for their listing/My Account, which automatically suspends the account when the renewed bill is not paid... it would be good to have trigger dates to send automated emails to users reminding them of the renewal.

2. Have and automated advertising system (i.e. Advertisment Module http://drupal.org/project/ad) with different advertising packages available for sale to the general public. Advertisers do not necessarily need to Users with a listing in the directory.

I have looked through Ubercart with looks promising but I cannot quite get myhead around using it forhtis particular circumstance?

what is the web address of your site? I am struggling to get mine up, a year overdue. We will use ubercart for the signup so we can tailor the ad size and their account.

I have ended up using ubercart and have the test site functional and ready... I have not yet tried to integrate the ad module linked to uc... and my site is not yet online for you to view!

where are you getting stuck?

soeey for the tardy reply. it is a mindset coming from the asp world using mysql and dreamweaver extensions.

have all of the data in the database, just need to carefully migrate it over to the drupal database.

might be quicker just to copy and paste.

very impressed with ubercart and the attributes part.

I will let you know when I have the first cut up.
