Hi. I had written a nodetheme module last year, before the current node_theme came out. I had been discussing becoming a co-maintainer on it, and Greggles pointed out that themekey does just about everything node_theme does, plus, and that as such there isn't a need for both.
In the face of my not being needed then, I was going to retreat from the offer, but Greggles convinced me that I could still be of help, considering the queue size here. So, I thought I'd check with you on what you feel you need. Do you need a co-maintainer, or simply an 'issue queue farmer/pirate?'

mkalkbrennerI tried to contact profix898 on 2009-07-04 when I started the additional module ThemeKey Properties. So far no response ...
I hope that he's simply to busy or on a big vacation. Currently this project seems to be unmaintained. And there are some bugs / patches which really need to be addressed.

mkalkbrennerUnfortunately it seems that profix898 isn't maintaining ThemeKey anymore.
Currently ThemeKey has some serious issues which need to be fixed. Due to the fact that I wrote the ThemeKey Properties extension and have pending patches in ThemeKeys' queue I offer to take the maintenance of it.
Maybe just temporary until profix898 gets back.

dave reidI have e-mailed profix898 today that his response is needed here. mkalkbrenner you are willing to take up maintainership of the module if I don't hear back?
mkalkbrennerYes, I'm willed to take up maintainership of ThemeKey.

Rosamunda commentedI´m sorry I´m sort of confused about this module´s patches...
If mkalkbrenner will be the new mantainer of this module... could those patches be added to themekey module?
(As this post seems to be kinda forgotten, let´s take this as some sort of *bump*? :)
Thanks!
Rosamunda

avpadernoIt is not forgotten; when we send an email to the maintainer, we wait for a reply for 14 days.

bonobo commentedGiven that two people have emailed the maintainer (see #1 and #5), and that the most recent attempt was 14 days ago, we're at the end of the 2 week period.

avpadernoThat is true.
As it has been Dave to send the email, he should tell us if the current maintainer has replied directly to his email (forgetting what suggested). It happened to me too, to send an email asking to reply on a issue report, and to get a reply only in my email.

dave reidI double-searched my Gmail and I have not received a response from profix898. Ownership transferred to mkalkbrenner. I look forward to you helping bring this module up to date and helping reduce the urge for people to create duplicate projects of themekey.
